I (Larry) am a pretty conservative person in life. I think the government is too involved with most aspects of our lives. But there is a time and place for government. I believe government should promote competition and the free market. It is best if the government doesn’t have to regulate things. But sometimes there is no competition but rather monopolies. From my experience and research, the ISP industry appears to be more of a monopoly instead of competitors.
Internet providers shouldn’t slow down content because they don’t like the content provider. I am paying them to provide service at a specific speed. I don’t want them to slow down or speed up content based on if the provider is paying them extra money.
