The latest trailer for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes focuses on Stan Lee, who will also be a playable character in the game! It seems like he is the ultimate superhero in the game and can pretty much do anything and everything that the characters he created can do, all while wearing his iconic shaded glasses. This is great for fans of Stan “The Man” and can be a hilarious side adventure for younger children who may find some humor in an old man doing things only the super heroes should do. Just like the cameos Mr. Lee makes in most of the Marvel-based films, I think this inclusion of the man whose imagination helped create all these characters, and who continues to be passionate about them, shows that LEGO is still KOOL and respectful of the franchises they promote.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes offers an original storyline in which Nick Fury calls upon Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man, Wolverine and other heroes spanning the Marvel Universe to save Earth from such threats as the vengeance of Loki and the hunger of Galactus, Devourer of the Worlds.
The game will pack in a plethora of super-cool character abilities, combat-like action sequences, epic battle scenes, puzzle-solving and a unique story told with playful LEGO humor.
Along with Stan Lee, players can unlock more than 100 characters from across the Marvel Universe, including fan favorites like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine, Captain America, the Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Deadpool, Dr. Doom, Electra, Agent Coulson, Magneto, Silver Samurai, The Punisher, Beast, Green Goblin, Juggernaut, Squirrel Girl, Loki, Sabretooth, The Vulture, Storm, Gambit, Dr. Connors, Howard the Duck, Galactus, and more!
The game will be available fall 2013 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation, Vita, PC, as well as next-gen consoles Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
