The Highly anticipated Italian Harry Potter Fan Film “Voldemort: Origins of the Heir” has been released on Youtube, and it is really well done. The film clocks in at nicely sized 52 minutes, and tells the story of 4 Hogwarts students who are also heirs to each of the 4 hogwarts houses. Tom Riddle(Voldemort) is the Heir of the house of Slytherin, Lazarus Smith is the Heir of the house of Hufflepuff, Wiglaf Sigurdsson Jr. is the Heir of the house of Ravenclaw, and Grisha McLaggen Jr. is the Heir to the house of Gryffindor. They are all students at Hogwarts at the same time, and have a pact to locate herilooms passed down from the schools founders.
Although the entire cast is Italian, the movie is in English and there are subtitles as well. While this is an “unofficial” film, apart from changing the font on the titles, neither Warner Bros. or J.K. Rowling raised any major objections to this movie being made.
This is a strong movie, I give it a B+
