I am excited to announce that Tina Brunker is the newest writer for Geeky KOOL. I first met Tina at Wizard World St. Louis. Tina was one of the panelist for our Geek Girl panel (which I was fortunate enough to be a part of it). Tina was a wonderful panelist who expressed her thoughts and ideas superbly.
I had the opportunity to hang out with Tina and her boyfriend, Chris Bailey (the comic book artist), in Chicago during C2E2. We went to dinner with mutual friends. Tina and I discussed our passion for writing and our love for various geeky hobbies.
By the end of C2E2, Tina and I started discussing the possibility of her joining the staff of Geeky KOOL. She is a geek and an experienced writer. She brings an unique perspective of the business side of geekdom both with Chris and her sewing business.
I am ecstatic that Tina has agreed to write for Geeky KOOL. She has already posted her first article for us. Check out her first wonderful article: C2E2: Behind the Table (Part One) if you missed it. It brings a little light to the mysterious life on the other side of the artist table, which most of convention goers don’t usually see.
