According to Radio Times, Steven Moffat has revealed what happened to Jenny, the Doctor’s daughter. The 2008 episode of Doctor Who, The Doctor’s Daughter, left many fans wondering what happened to Jenny. Jenny was a clone of the 10th Doctor. At the end of the episode, Jenny jumps on a rocket to start her own adventure.
Moffat recently told the story about Russell T Davies’ answer. Davies informed Moffat that the only reason Jenny lived was because Moffat didn’t want Jenny to die. It would be too much like a Star Trek episode to kill her off at the end. Davies had her rocket off to space. Then Davies told him not to worry because right after she went into space, her rocket crashed into a moon and she perished.
That is the story. According to Moffat and Davies, the Doctor’s Daughter died off-screen in a terrible rocket crash into a moon. I don’t buy (or don’t want to buy) this answer as the final answer for Jenny, the Doctor’s Daughter. I hold out hope for the return of the Jenny.
