Screenwriter and producer Roberto Orci passed away. Orci was only 51 years old. He passed away from his ongoing kidney disease.
Orci was a well known screenwriter. He was considered to be among the hottest screenwriters in Hollywood at one time.
Orci began his career on series likeXena: Warrior Princess and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. He was a primary writer on series like Star Trek, Hawaii Five-0 and Transformers. He also worked on The Amazing Spider-Man movie series.
Orci often partnered with Alex Kurtzman on the various franchises. He also teamed up with J.J. Abrams on the Star Trek movies and Michael’s Bay on Transformers movies.
